Growth, Healing, and Connection.

You’ve been through enough. Healing shouldn’t feel like another fight.

SerenityRoots Counseling offers compassionate, judgment-free therapy for individuals navigating child welfare involvement, domestic violence, abuse and recovery.

Maybe you’re showing up to court, parenting under pressure, or trying to stay sober while feeling like the system is stacked against you.
Maybe you've been told you need therapy — but what you really need is someone who gets it.

  • A safe space to speak freely — without fear of being misunderstood or reported

  • Support from someone who understands the impact of systems, trauma, and generational cycles

  • A path forward that’s rooted in healing, not perfection

“Mental Health is our “silent” crisis. There is no shame in speaking out and seeking help.”

- Viola Davis.

Who I Work With

“I work with individuals who are doing everything they can to keep it together — in front of the courts, their kids, and the world.”

I support men and women who are:

  • Involved with CPS or under court orders

  • Recovering from substance use or trauma

  • Leaving (or still in) abusive relationships

  • Fighting to regain custody or stability

  • Exhausted from judgment, but still showing up

This isn’t about checking boxes. It’s about finding peace in the middle of your storm — and learning how to trust yourself again.

Healing isn’t just about feeling better—it’s about breaking patterns, finding your voice, and creating a life that feels like yours.

Our areas of focus are:

  • Substance use & recovery support

  • Anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm

  • Grief, loss, and difficult life transitions

  • Relationship and communication struggles

  • Domestic violence recovery and safety planning

  • Healing from emotional, physical, or sexual abuse

  • Support for survivors of childhood trauma and neglect

  • Child welfare involvement and family reunification

  • Breaking generational cycles of trauma

You are not broken—you’re responding to a life that’s asked too much of you for too long. Together, we’ll begin the work of healing, one step at a time.
